Looming Adventure

Gilbert and I are sitting on my couch in Bar Harbor pulling pick N' pluck foam from the Pelican case that will store our camera. It is drizzling out, but we are warm inside my apartment for the time being. We are making important decisions about the trip like which side of the Pelican case should house the camera. We spent the day getting gear for the trip and taking inventory of what we need with Gilbert's father Jonathan. Soon we will be at the mercy of the North Pacific ocean, but for now I am hungry and have the choice of eating out or in. And after I am done eating I will probably enjoy a steaming hot water shower. Once we are underway our blog entries will no doubt be longer and more interesting, but now I have a hot pizza whispering to me and I intend to answer its call.
